Dr. Latricia Buckner, PhD

Scholar and coach who develops evidence-based tools for flourishing at work, at church, and in life.

Flourishing is living fully: not without challenges, but with an inner anchor that makes growth possible even in hard seasons.

I study this through psychology, theology, and coaching science, creating frameworks that address barriers like overfunctioning and borrowed stories.

Real Research. Practical Frameworks. Human Flourishing.

The Abiding Life Framework

Flourishing is living fully. Life will still include challenges, losses, and setbacks, but through a secure, abiding connection with God we have an anchor that steadies us and allows us to grow, even in hard seasons.

The Abiding Life Framework is my whole-life model of flourishing across four domains:

  • Vitality: Whole-person strength in body and mind.

  • Stewardship: Wise, sustainable use of time, money, and energy.

  • Belonging: Secure connection with God and others, marked by mutual care.

  • Calling: Meaningful contribution through work, service, and creativity.
